In terms of counseling modalities, Tonia tends to follow a cognitive behavioral approach, while incorporating mindfulness into her work.
Tonia is excited to work at Maple Hall Academy to share her passion with the next generation, guiding them towards implementing life long skills that can change the trajectory of their lives. Tonia’s positive, up beat personality assists her in connecting well with the children she works with in a fun way that welcomes change.
Tonia’s claim to fame is that she hiked the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine! In her spare time she enjoys hiking and backpacking with her husband and three dogs. You can also find Tonia buying dog food, toys and treats daily as her dogs have very high expectations of her.
